There were a few tricks on the players in question. Just because they got away with it last year dont make them legal now. Just because a ld player plays in one e class tourny doesnt make him a e class player, he is still ld.This is a comment that a player on voodoo had about my team after the polar bear.and just because they played upper d last weekend does that make them a e player or upper d.

yes you are right if they are lower d then that is where they need to play not e.  As far as voodoo goes they seem to be a good team, however they still need to play by the rules.  I also have a problem with other teams agreeing to let the man play illegal.  The directors even knew that the man was illegal and let him play anyway, and as soon as they knew he was on the field they should have ejected him if not the whole team.  By them letting him play anyway is says it is ok to break the rules until you get cought.  Why have rules then.

good job voodooo.  speaking of playing by the rules when did one pitch become an option to speed up a tourney. we paid $245 to play regular softball.  One pitch tourneys only cost 150 or 175 at most.  and to top it all it didnt even rain until the end of the 2nd championship game. just my thought.

Hit4 brains cry us a river. If you're not willing to pony up the protest then stop crying and play ball. I'm guessing this is jackie. I heard you made a real classey spectacle of yourself today. If you're going to cry about it protest it... It doesn't get any easier.

Jackie,

I hope there are no hard feelings.  There has been a lot of controversy between our two teams the past couple of years.  To me, I am cool with that; I think it adds to the rivalry, and hopefully bring out the best in each of our teams when we face off in the future.  I know you guys and we go way back for many years.  I know some things were said today, some things have been said in the past, but at the end of the day I still consider you guy’s great friends.  Hopefully, all of the softball drama doesn't get in the way of our friendship.  Congrats to you on a good hard fought game today.  You do have a team to be reckoned with in E class.  Until we meet again...

I agree, JUST SHUT-UP AND PLAY BALL!!!  If one person can beat your whole team then you don't need to be out there.  Don't worry about anything VOO-DOO.  I have been in his shoes before and it sucks, I feel your pain ADAM.  Anytime we play VOO-DOO he is more than welcome to play.  One player will not make a difference in the outcome of a game.  WAY TO PLAY VOO-DOO.  Love the fact that you DD CRUNCHTIME.

Appreciate the comments Lonestar99 - l am really looking forward to every game we play you guys.  I think each one will be hard fought and come down to whoever has the home field advantage.

bigbob the problem with the protest was that the games were moved to a 1 pitch to speed up the game due to the weather so when ttb went to protest they were told to put up the money which would have held the game another 30 min because the coach had his wallet in the car and would have had to go get it anyway when the protest was made then the directors should have then sent voodoo packing instead of stoping for talks the money was not an issue it was the time not to mention that field was 1 game behind already.  After the game was over ttb was told that had the MONEY been put up voodoo would have been gone for the day even they knew he was illegal

If that is the case, why are no teams allowed to have an upper class pick up this year. Rules are rules. Directors need to step up and enforce the rules. By the way, I have no dog in the fight. Its just my opinion.

you are right one person will not make a difference however one person playing illegal means another can do it and another if that is the case then why have classes just divide and play ball

and what about the people who are asking to be droped to play lower class legally, should they just do it and not ask and play until someone puts up the money?

rules are rules and the directors knew he was illegal and would only do something about it if the money was showed and i quote "had you put up the money i would have sent voodoo home for the day, he was approved for lower d not for e"
