The black guy from Crunchtime made a comment to us "Heavy Weights" when our 3rd baseman got in the altercation with their RC fielder (in Cartersville a few weeks back), that we didn't care for either. Our 2nd baseman told him not to be making any threats and he said that is wasn't a threat, but a promise. I am not going to disclose what he said (I can not remember it word for word, just have the jist of it and do not want to get anything started), but it was when he thought the lady was hit or whatever.

Anyways, a few innings later........he was cool. Apologized and everything, seemed like it was a big misunderstanding. I was shocked by the outburst though, because from the beginning he seemed really cool and very nice.........until that, but then was right back to being the "nice and cool" guy again.

Just my input!

"He was sorry for it"?  Give me a freaking break.  You threaten to shoot someone and you're sorry?  What a damn joke.  Hopefully to God the DIRECTOR'S will not let this stand.  Hopefully to GOD, Eric or someone from Crunchtime will find a way to police their players.  Calling someone a name is a reason to say sorry.  But, threatening to shoot someone and take their life over softball?  There has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Things that I know:

Mondi is a good guy... sad to hear this... maybe he meant 9 other teammates....

Cookie never hits the middle unless he is hit on...

Cookie man bunted against my team, please do that everytime we play you!  I'd much rather see that then a lazer through the infield that goes to the fence head level... man can he hit.

Crunchtime has two really little guys that absolutely hammer it for being like 5'2" and 100lbs soaking wet... which makes me think twice about the shaved bat... BUT IT'S INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILTY....

Crunchtime3B hammers the S$IT out of the ball!

My team seriously lost to both teams in the finals and played HORRIFIC..... well I played bad in both field and hitting but my team couldn't hit for nothing....

Good Luck to all next weekend....

Here's what I think: Crunchtime won the tourney fair and square. I think they have more chemistry than talent, as they were not the most talented team out there Saturday. But, I guess when you play together long enough, you start to click. I do know this for a fact though. I hit the same bat all day. I have enough bat control to keep it in the park. CT always seemed to use a different bat when the hr's where gone. I know this because our catcher would let me know when the "Stealth" was up to bat. I cant say that bat is shaved or not but I do know that when a 120lb guy is hitting harder than me somethings wrong.

Cookie's integrity should not be questioned at all.

I agree!

Cookie is a good man and he does hit the shizzle out of a softball!

Cook is a great guy. He kept a Catholic Church team from jumping me after I hit their pitcher...... 3 times.

Having known Cook for quite some time, I will be the first to say he will BREAK UP anything from happening before he will aggitate it. He's always been a peace keeper, if the middle war starts with the J-Dawgs, god help you, b/c even for 40, he hits it harder than I've ever seen so put your own pitcher at risk if you want to.

so basically the moral of this whole c-time story is the same with T.O. ... as long as they're winning, they don't care what kind of antics the guys on the team pull.  do what they do but then get on here and defend them and say sorry and all this other bull shit only as long as they're winning.  start losing and suddenly "that kind of stuff will not be tolerated on our team"

how bout if you're just gonna "Be sorry" after the fact all the time, you just think about what you're gonna say before you say it.  who cares if you're sorry, just your keep your mouth shut before you say it in the first place if you're going to regret it.  Everyone's a bad ass until the consequences come out and then "oh i'm sorry"

I would just like to say that I thinks it's piss poor that you LD teams let this trash talkin, gun totin, no class havin E team come up and win a tourney. I've never seen or played these guys, but I can tell from the comments on this board every week that these guys are trash. I hope you guys don't let it happen again.

If this guy really does say this stuff why is he still allowed on to play, soon there will come a time when someone will not take these threats llightly.  The way i see it if someone threatens your life you better get them before they get you especially if they have a history of saying or doing things like he does.  Express #3

I agree with you Sneaky Tiger.  Also, I'm pretty sure it's against the law to threaten someone with deadly force.  Of course, it's heresy unless you have credible witnesses and you can prove bodily injury.
