Everyone please read this about Cartersville Parks & Recreation enforcements

Good afternoon gents,

I just wanted to let you know I spoke with the Cartersville Parks and Recreation Director last night about the issues we had in Cartersville last weekend. Following are rules that the Parks and Recreation Director has implemented to ensure there are no problems like that again.

1.   Any containers of alcohol found in the parking lot next to an automobile; the owner of the automobile with be asked to leave the park for the remainder of the day.  If there is a second  occurrence with the same individual, that person will be barred from the park for one full calendar year.

2.   Any person caught drinking alcohol will be escorted from the park and will be barred from the park for one full calendar year.

3.    Anyone creating a disturbance will be escorted from the park for the remainder of the day and depending on the severity, maybe be banned from the park for one full calendar year.

4.   If there are any more issues like those that happened this weekend, we will be forced to have a policeman there at all times.  This will incur an extra cost and this expense be passed onto the team’s entry fees. I am not in favor of this however,  I will have no choice but to implement this in order use the park.

5.   There are posted signs stating  “No tolerance of bad language or behavior at Cartersville Parks.”  This is the only warning that will be given to each player.

Guys, we are grown men here and I would like to point out that we do have small children and women in the park at all tournaments.  Let’s keep the behavior calm and courteous so Cartersville Parks and Rec. will not be forced to implement the above actions.
