HIT 9" GIRLS SOFTBALL. SOFTBALLS WILL BE SOLD AT TOURNEY.

FORMAT: 2-PITCH/ PITCH TO YOUR TEAM

10 HOMERUNS THEN OUT

PITCHER SCREEN WILL BE IN PLACE. ANY BALL THAT HITS SCREEN WILL BE A DEADBALL OUT.

This sounds like fun minus the screen. What if a ball thrown in from the outfield hits the screen? Dont you think it would get in the way of throws coming in?

IT'S A GREAT FORMAT. THE SCREEN IS THERE FOR THE PITCHERS PROTECTION. BELIEVE ME, THAT LITTLE BALL CAN GET ON YOU PRETTY FAST. I HAVE SEEN MAYBE 2 BALLS THROWN IN HIT SCREEN IN THE 4 TOURNAMENTS I HAVE PLAYED IN. IT IS JUST A DEAD BALL WITH RUNNER ONLY ALLOWED TO ADVANCE, TO BASE HE ALREADY COMMITTED TO RUN TO.

Had a great turn out for the hit-a-thon for Chestatee High School fastpitch today. With that being said, the tourney for next Saturday Sept. 11, 2010, will have an entry fee of only $150 per team with 3 game guarantee. We have had some things donated and can lower the fee. Still have 3 spots left.

Also, from 10am -4pm the pitching machine will be set up on softball field for homerun derby. The speed will be set a 50mph. The entry is $5 for 10 swings and the fence is 250'. This will be available to anyone and you can enter as many times as you like, time permitting.
