uhm....WRONG!
what SEC team will be in the NC this year?
Alabama? not with mark ingram out for 3-4 weeks
uga? not with a freshman qb and no running back
florida? give me a break, their reign is over, but then again they play nothing but community colleges
lsu? not with les miles at the rhelm, he will be out of a job by end of year and probably coachin michagan next year
we all know that the rest of the sec is mediocre at best, outside of the teams i listed above, tell me an sec team that would be over 500 in big 10/big 12/or even pac 10?

yes the buckeyes got smashed in both nc by an sec team, but that is becasue we got cocky and all acted as if we deserved the ship....
but with 9 of 11 offensive starters returning and only losing 4 of 11 starters on defense ...why would you not expect us to win...

granted we do have some big games at home vs michagan and miami and then have to travel to wisconsin, iowa, and pen st...but id be willing to put money that we not only win the big 10...but the ship as well

Yes, Buckey # 1, I would like to take this "be willing to put money that we not only win the big 10....but the ship as well".  Please, pretty please email me directly and let me know how much you'd like to bet.  I love easy money.

There will not be a SEC team in the NC this year, sorry SEC fans, its will be Boise State vs Ohio State mark my words!! Boise has got screwd the past 3 years! not losing a game!! and now that they are actually ranked and got respect thats going to be the NC game!!

When you got as many dominant teams as sec it's that easy to pull for the whole conference. I'm a die hard Georgia fan, and if my team doesn't make the big game then you damn right I'm gonna pull for another sec team. So buckey are you saying you only watch Ohio state? That sucks to only watch 12-13 games, do you watch the national championship?

couple of things for this ohio st fan buckey... ingram is going to be out this week and they are trying to rest him for the penn st game... words from an alabama trainer... i know because i work with a guy that is friends and went to school with this guy... at most he misses first two weeks... second of all even if ingram is out you do remember who his backup is right? trent richardson... he is not a slouch he did play A LOT last yr and only gained experience... the only difference in ingram and richardson is a heisman trophy and if their roles were reversed richardson would be the one with the heisman... and plz remember alabama does have other players as well... they will be just fine.. and no im not a bama fan whatsoever... im a texas fan and im not saying we play in the strongest conference but were consistent with what we do every yr and we do play some good teams within our conference... and oh st has all these GREAT recruiting classes... well when is the last time they won a title... every time they make it and ARE THE TEAM TO BEAT they crumble... sometimes it is ok to accept your team is not a great as you would like to think they are... they are always in the top 5 or ten im sure is what you will say but are they there in the end??? no...

southern...dont put words in mouth, i didnt say i dont watch any oter games...i said im not a band wagon fan and root for my rival whe they play....as all of you sec fans seem to do....i bet all yall dont think pryor is gonna win the heisman either???
man comparing sec and big 10 is like comparing apples and oranges, sure they are both round and fruity but 2 entirly different colors and tastes....just like sec and big 10, sure both college  football conferences and both play same game, however 2 entirely different types of football played. sec has abunch of smaller abd faster players but big 10 is bigger and stronger (player wise) we play in real footall weather, sec plays all of theirs in sunny day time games...maybe 1 or 2 drizzles here and there....this will be debated forever just keep watching and trying to argue how tough your conference is because your team isnt....but we will be at the top as usual
