They hold water pretty well but they're run by Gwinnett County. They're really strict about playing in the rain and make them call it off if it gets bad at all, regardless of how the fields hold up.

Are they good fields? Ive just never been there and did want to go to another park with 250' fields and a sandbox for a infield!

They are pretty good fields. Dont really know why they arent used more than they are now. As of last night they still had field 9 closed which is the middle out of the three fields because it wasnt draining as well as the other two from the rain that we had over last weekend. So i would imagine if they got enough rain tomorrow they wouldnt allow anyone to play on them sat.

You will be pleasantly surprised with the fields. I really like Bethesdas fields and wish they were used more often. I know they are being used quite a bit more this year, but I doubt we will play there much as it is a long way for most of our team. Bethesda is about 5 minutes away from anything you could possibly want to eat fast food wise. The infield is not sandy and not rock hard like Metro. Outfields are smooth and the ball truly rolls out there. You very rarely get a bad hop in the outfield at Bethesda. You will be pleased as long as mother nature doesnt win first.

300' all around, 10 foot fences. One field, dont know which number (either 8 or 10, the adult fields up top are numbered 8/9/10) has a net in RF to protect the parking lot. If you hit the net it is a HR.

I played in a one pitch league on Mondays, And they have new scoreboards, they added at least an inch of dirt to the infield over the winter to help with draining and with the bad hops, only bad thing right now with the fields are they have huge rocks in the infield due to the new dirt, we were picking them up throwing them out during the winter so not sure if really any big ones are left, but it has gotten a lot better since last year. Yeah i knew they were trying to do some changes to the fields to make them safer and much nicer. The batters boxes use to be very deep and filled with sand and it made it pretty dangerous to slide into home. But now they have dug those spots out and put something down in it and packed some new dirt on top so that it is flat again. They are really making the right changes to the fields but its just whether they are going to let us play on them more or not.

Tourney is canceled, but there are no big rocks or anything on the field. We were up there Wednesday night hitting and the infields were great.
